In my opening 2 minutes of my film, I am going to place my characters into selected outfits so that they create the same affect on the audience that I wanting to create to show the characters personality.
Protagonist:
In my opening 2 minutes of my film, my antagonist will be wearing his School uniform. I did this because when we see someone in School uniform, we expect them to be a young student. Someone who attends School is under the age of 16 so we therefore see them as venerable and weak. I also chose to put my protagonist in School uniform as he will be seen as harmless, this also allows us to take away the stereotypes from young people that they are always causing trouble and create havoc. I am not going to use a girl within my film, which would be the stereotype within a horror film, to use a girl, due to the fact that I wanted to use a boy to show that the antagonist attacks any children.
Antagonist:
In my opening 2 minutes of my film, I am going to show my protagonist wearing a white top with blood splattered over it. I am using a white top as this will allow the blood to stand out and draw the audience to look at the blood on his top. By having blood on his top, this will also create tension because we stereotypically expect our antagonist within a horror film to have some form of blood on them if they're going to cause harm to the protagonist because the blood presents the idea that they have hurt someone / something before.
